The act of rendering dentistry is a very personal and intimate act.  Having strangers work in our mouth is an act of trust and faith.  We believe its essential to gain a patient's trust early, make an individual feel at ease early and to never violate that trust we develop.  Our job is to educate our patients:  to make them aware of the conditions in their mouth, instruct them as to the available options for treatment and to give them all the information they need to make a wise decision on the best course of treatment.  When we do render treatment, its our task to do it painlessly, quickly--with quality and precision.
